SITE QUESTIONS
Q: Is this site secure?
A: Yes! Before any payment information is accepted during the checkout process, we automatically transfer your connection to a secure website that will completely encrypt all data you enter including your credit card information. You'll be able to verify this connection when you see the beginning characters of the URL (the web address) change to "https://..." indicating a secure internet connection rather than the more common "http://..." connection.
Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: Because your privacy is of utmost importance to us, we will never rent, sell, or share any email address obtained on the Kregel Publications website with a company, organization or individual unrelated to Kregel, Inc. without your express permission. Q: What are the advantages of registering as a Member?
A: Free membership benefits include:
- Savings in order entry time with increased accuracy by the safe storage your personal shipping and billing address information .
- An ability to track the progress of your orders using the Member Services page.
- An ability to change your address and account information whenever you wish to do so.
MEMBER QUESTIONS
Q: How do I register as a Member?
A: Follow these steps:
- Click on "Guest Registration" located in the upper left-hand area of the store pages. (Click here if you do not see this link.)
- On the registration page which will then appear, fill in all of the required fields indicated by an asterisk. Select any member name you wish to have although we recommend that you use your email address for ease of remembering. You will then be asked to choose a password consisting of 6 or more characters. Verify this password by retyping it into the "Confirm" password field and then make a note of this password for future reference.
- Submit the registration page by clicking on "Complete Registration."
- Once you have registered, you will no longer need to re-enter your address information unless you choose to change it. This address information may then be edited anytime using the Member Services page.
- If your computer's "cookies" option is enabled, the online bookstore will automatically remember you on future visits. Otherwise, you will need to re-enter your member name and password when prompted.
Q: I forgot my Member password. Now what?
A: We will assign a new password foryou. You may either send us a password of your choosing in the body of an otherwise blank email (place the word "Member" in the subject line) sent to webmaster@kregel.com or simply call Scot at 1-616-459-9444 who will personally take this information from you. New passwords will take effect within one business day from the time the information is received.
Q: My Member password isn't working. What can I do?
A: Be sure to check first of all that your "Caps Lock" key is not on. Because passwords are case-sensitive, "password" is not understood to be the same as "PASSWORD." If you are not sure of your password or have forgotten your password, a new one can be issued to you by following the steps outlined above. If these steps fail to solve the problem, contact the webmaster@kregel.com for further assistance.
Q: How do I check on the status of an order?
A: Estimated delivery times are included on the Order Confirmation Pages for both members and guests. Members will additionally be able to track the progress of their orders by visiting the Member Services page.
Q: How do I look up my Member Information?
A: Go to the Member Services page which will then display your secure member information.
Q: How can I change my Member information?
A: Members may change their member information at any time using the Member Services page.
Q: How long will books remain in my shopping cart?
A: Items placed in your cart will remain there for up to one year after which time they will be removed.
ORDER QUESTIONS
Q: I am not comfortable ordering online. What options do I have?
A. You may place any items you wish to purchase in a shopping cart. After you finish making all of your selections, print the contents of your cart by clicking on your browser's "Print" button. Forward this information to us by using one of the contact numbers given on the Contact Us page. Be sure to have the printed copy of your order ready to share with our Customer Service Representatives if you phone your order in. We will check to make sure every item is available and take the required information from you. To mail or fax your order, send a printed copy of your order to us along with a note containing your credit card number and expiration date.
Q: What payment options are available for the products I order?
A: We can accept personal checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and/or Discover. Those who have previously established a Kregel Publications charge account with our Customer Services Department will be billed for their purchases.
Q: May I return a book?
A: While we have every confidence that you will be completely satisfied with the quality of books you purchase from Kregel Publications, we do offer a 100% money back guarantee for every title published by Kregel Publications. Details are available on the "Returns Policy" page.
Q: What shipping choices are available? What are the associated rates and delivery times?
A: Shipping rates are based on product weights and are intended to approximate actual shipping costs. The choices available and the associated delivery times are:
- FedEx Ground Service (4-11 days)
- U.S.P.O. Book Rate (5-25 days)
- U.S. Priority Mail (3-7 days)
- FedEx Next Day Air (1-2 days)
- FedEx 2nd Day Air (2-3 days)
- Surface Mail - Canada/Mexico (Varies by destination)
- Surface Mail - Other Foreign (Varies by destination)

Q: How is the exchange rate for foreign currency calculated?
A: As we can only accept payment in U.S. dollars, we encourage foreign customers to use their credit card when paying as the exchange rate used by credit card companies in most cases will be the most favorable exchange rate.
Q: Will sales taxes be added?
A: If the destination of your order is within the State of Michigan, we are required by law to collect a 6.00% sales tax on the total amount of your order excluding shipping charges. If you are ordering on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, please include your ID number in the "Comments" field of the Cart Page when checking out. We will then ignore any tax charges included in the total of your order when processing your payment choice.
Q: Can I change or cancel an order that I placed electronically?
A: An electronically-placed order cannot by changed online. We can make any needed changes for you, however, if you contact us promptly by phone or email. Please be sure to have your order number handy when calling or writing to us.
Q: How can I pay by check?
A: Place any items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart. When you finish shopping, click on "Check Out" and follow the instructions provided until you see the Order Confirmation Page. At that point click on the "Pay by Check" option and click "Continue." We will hold your order for up to two weeks while waiting for your payment to arrive. Prompt shipment of your order will then be made.
Q: How can I place a credit card order by phone or fax?
A: Call our Order Department at 1-616-451-4775 between 8:30AM to 5PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, to provide us with your credit card number and the expiration date. You may fax this same information to us using our fax line 1-616-451-9330.
Q: What are the advantages of enabling my computer's "cookies" option?
A: Having your "Cookies" option enabled allows you to take advantage of several helpful member features. The store will operate correctly, however, for those wishing to disable this feature.
Q: How can I establish a credit account with Kregel Publications?
A: An approved Kregel Publications credit application form is required. This form can be sent to you upon request. Once payment is received for your first order, subsequent orders may then be sent on a credit basis.
Q: Do you offer gift certificates online?
A: At this time, we are not able to offer gift certificate online. We do plan on offering these at some point in the future.
